Spayathons

Dr. Olson arrived in Romania to graciously volunteer for the Spayathons on April 12 - May 3. On the first day 80 animals were sterilized, 100 the next, and a steady stream of procedures the following days, totaling 714 in Bucharest!

Nancy will be in Romania on April 10 - May 6 helping with the Spayathons in Bucharest, Tecuci, and Help Labus shelter. She will travel to pick up Elizabeth next week and get her spayed and vaccinated, and get her papers in order for her trip. We will continue in Bucharest until Sunday, then head to Tecuci for the next Spayathon.

Cara to Canada

These photos are of Cara, a blind Doberman that we have been asked to help. It is believed that Cara was probably used as a breeder dog, and then dumped on the street after her producing days were over (even though she is blind). She needs a lot of TLC, and this is exactly what Rebecca is offering her in Victoria!

UPDATE: In May, Cara was transported to Canada to be with Rebecca. She is in Victoria, British Columbia now.
