Pilot

This is one of the puppies that Daniela found starving in Braila earlier this year. Remember the three she had found, that were newborns? Thanks to Jodie, Carol and Kathy, we were able to send them to the USA! He is the pride and joy of his mama!

Hello Everyone and one of every bite of support that each of you gave in helping to make the World Woof Tour Rock... Christmas has finally arrived. Oscar is home in one solid piece (plus 3 kilo's!) Exactly one year ago, Oscar and I sat beneath the Mistletoe and imagined what dreams would come in the year to follow. One year later, here we are; and now, we know - and its all because of all of YOU! For this, Oscar and I are down on our paws and knees and saying a deep, sincere, whole hearted THANK YOU. No woofing words woof can really express our deep and sincere gratitude for all that you have so graciously given to us through some aspect of this project. Each one of you have been an instrumental part of making this project a humbling, 'barking' success. Thank you. Thank you all so much. From the main players here in South Africa - ROGZ, Pedigree, UPS and Animal Travel Services to Oscar's true 'Oscars' splattered all over this great big planet, we salute you with all our might! In a world that grabs more than it gives, thank you for all your exceptional generosity and support through this project that is 'The World Woof Tour'. I can tell you that the documentary is already in production n California and one of hottest directors in the business has his creative paws right on the job! The rhetoric for the children's book is almost complete and the main book-a joint collaboration between Oscar and I - will begin early in the new year... As you can sniff, in many ways, the end is just the beginning. I leave you with a FEW of Oscar's favorite images from around the world and look forward to sending you each a paw-signed copy of Oscar's book and documentary in August 2010! And of course, from there we hope to see you on the red carpet at the Oscar's in 2011 when Oscar is expecting to be nominated for his leading role for everything but a Slumdog! Until then, attached are a few of the articles that were circulated through the UK and South Africa upon Oscar's arrival home last week. So on behalf of the 15,000 homeless hounds that Oscar met around the globe, and the 475 million that are still hoping for a home before the holidays end, a Merry Christmas to you all, from you guessed who- Santa Paws! Peace, love and 'Yappiness' to you all, and we wish you the addition of a spanking new adopted dog in 2010...sterilized, of course! WOOF! |
