Samantha

Pictured above is Samantha, the 6 week old puppy that was found with her siblings in a trash bin right after she was born. She still had her umbilical cord attached. Samantha is from Cluj-Napoca and will go to Portland, Oregon for adoption!

Betty and Lola

We'd like to bring you good news about two dogs, Betty and Lola. Betty has now been spayed! She will be ready to travel to the Janes ranch, along with Vlad, when her stitches are removed. Lola is still under care; she has ascites, but is undergoing treatment. RAR covered the costs for these treatments, thanks to all the wonderful donations!

Association for Animal Protection

Ioana Diaconu, president of Association for Animal Protection "A Second Chance", found these puppies. They were abandoned in a field in Glina, about eight miles southeast of Bucharest. They have now been transported to Laila. 15 females have been spayed. Many more dogs in Glina are in need of getting spayed/neutered; the dogs are almost all left outside in the yards, but they are not sterilized.
